For engagement of Project Staff under sponsored project
Applications are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:
1. Project Title Environmental Monitoring of NTPC Power Plant, Kahalgaon, Bihar
2. Prescribed Educational Qualification
Minimum 55% in MSc in Environmental Science, Life sciences, Chemistry for Project Assistant Level II. B.E/B.Tech (Civil/Chem) Engg Candidates with experience in related area (as indicated in the job requirement) will be preferred qualification and experience
3. Job Requirement Environmental Monitoring (Air, Noise, water quality and biological monitoring), knowledge of floral and faunal biodiversity, microbiology(coliforms)
4. Fixed Remuneration Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (Project Assistant Level II) /Rs. 14,000/- p.m. (Project Assistant Level III)
5. No. of positions Two Project Assistant Level II/III
6. Upper Age Limit 28 years (Project Assistant Level II) / 32 years (Project Assistant Level III)
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, work quantum, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with the project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
