“Walk-in-interview” for the following positions for engagement in various Inhouse/ Contract Research Projects (Sponsored and Grant in-aid) on purely temporary basis (co-terminus with the project) is being held on 24.04.2010.
1. Project Assistant Level-II
Rs. 10,000/- pmOR as per provisions in the Project.
Educational Qualifications :- 1 st Class M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Genetic/ Bioinformatics/ Plant Breeding/ Virology/ Biology/ Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Plant Pathology/ Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Agrometeorology/ Forestry/ Horti~ulture/ Plant Physiology/
Vegetable Science/ Soil Science/ Crop Physiology/ Zoology/ Entomology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Science (knowledge of computer applications) / Botany/ Agri. Extension/ Industrial Chemistry/ Natural Plant Product! Pharmacy/ Chemical Engineering/ Agrochemicals/ Biochemistry / Ecology/ Food Science/Toxicology/Biochemistry (background in Animal Cell culture techniques will be an added advantage)/ MCA / M.Tech-M.Sc. in Geology with experience of GIS & RS application/ Computer Science for database development.
Age: 28 years as on 24.04.2010.
2. CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns
Rs. 11500/- PM (fixed)
Educational Qualifications :- 1 st Class M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Genetic/ Bioinformatics/ Plant Breeding/ Virology/ Biology/ Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry/ ” Plant Pathology/ Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Agrometeorology/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Plant Physiology/ Vegetable Science/ Soil Science/ Crop Physiology/ Zoology/ Entomology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Science (knowledge of computer applications) / Botany/ Agri. Rs. 7000/- OR as per provisions in the Project.
Educational Qualifications :- 1st class B.Sc. in Medical/ Non Medical/ Agriculture/ BCA
Age: 28 years as on 24.04.2010
Date of Walk in interview: 24.04.2010 Time 8.30AM, Place -IHBT, Palampur (H.P.)
Age Re/axation:-Re/axation in upper age limit of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ PH shall be provided as per Govt. of India Rulesl CSIR circular. Age relaxation up to 05 years is also available for women candidates for the position of CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Intern only.
Applicants must indicate as to whether any of their blood/ close relative is working in IHBT or any other National Labs/ Instts. of the CSIR. Eligible candidates may appear for “Walk-in Interview” on the date, time and place mentioned above. Candidates appearing for “Walk-in-Interview” have to submit an application on the prescribed proforma available at the yenue of Walk-in-Interview alongwith attested photocopies of educational qualifications, age, category, experience etc. phone contact and photocopies of testimonials. The position are purely temporary and co- terminus with the projects. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/ she will not be allowed to appear for interview.
