Subject: Advertisement for the award of Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for award of one Junior Research Fellow on a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 12000/- pm in the project entitled “Isolation and Characterization of Species Specific Repetitive DNA Families from Saccharum spontaneum and Saccharum officinarum and their use in characterization of Individual Chromosomes of Corresponding Species”, under Dr. Sundip Kumar, Associate Professor.
The fellowship is purely temporary and may continue till the duration of the project or maximum three years which ever is earlier. The appointment shall be given on six monthly review basis.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
MSc (Biotechnology), MSc (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M. Sc. (Life Science) and Experience in Classical or molecular cytogenetics will be considered as desirable qualification.
Candidates possessing the above qualifications may submit their application on plain paper in the following format to the undersigned, on or before 30.07.2010, (Latest by 10.00 AM on 30.7.2010). The interviews will be held on the 30.07.2010 at 11 AM in the office of the undersigned.
No separate letter for interview will be issued & no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
