Applications are invited in the enclosed format for the following temporary project based positions to be filled at CPB, Hisar. The application complete in all respect should be received in the office of the undersigned on or before 24.04.2010.
1 Project Scientist (Two)
Essential: Ph.D. in any area of Plant Sciences with proven experience in DNA fingerprinting/ AFLP.
Desirable: NET/GATE qualified, publications in peer reviewed journals; Proficiency of computer application.
Renumeration Rs. 30,000/- pm consolidated
2 JRF (One)
Essential: M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Botany/Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry with experience in molecular biology.
Desirable: NET/GATE qualified, publications in peer reviewed journals; Proficiency of computer application.
Renumeration Rs. 12,000/- + HRA pm
1. The applications must be submitted in the given format by post only. The envelope must be superscribed with “Application for the post of (Name of Post)”
2. If applying for more than one position separate applications must be sent.
3. Application must be accompained by self attested copies of relevant certificates/testimonials.
4. Applications received after last date and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
5. The appointment will be co-terminus with the project.
6. The appointment can also be terminated by the Director with or without notice at any time if the appointee is found negligent in his/ her work/ is guilty of unbecoming conduct.
7. The selected candidate can leave the job after giving 30 days notice in writing or equivalent salary in lieu of notice.
8. The services can also be terminated at any point of time due to non-release of grant by the funding agency.
9. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
10. CPB holds no responsibility for his/her regularization/ absorption against any regular post on termination of the project as the posts are purely temporary and time bound. The incumbent will stand terminated automatically on expiry of sanction of the project. Also, he/she will be at a liberty to try for appointment elsewhere at his/her own level.
11. He/she will not be entitled to any CPF/EPF or other benefits admissible to regular employees.
12. He/ she will be required to join the post within 15 days of date of issue of appointment orders, failing which his/her appointment will be treated as cancelled and offer will be given to the next candidate in the selection list.
